I can say “one day” all I want.

One day you’ll see what you
could have had
One day you’ll regret the way
you treated me
One day you’ll wish I was still
there for you
One day I won’t think about
you all the time
One day I’ll have someone
who can show me they love me.

But “one day” does not
help me right now.
And I’d be lying if I said
right now didn’t suck.

Can’t “one day” be today? (via fuckyouveryveryymuch)

Keep in mind
that everyone makes mistakes
and remember all
the times you’ve said something
you shouldn’t have
or didn’t say something
when you should have.

There are more things to life
than the one boy who can’t get
his story straight
and gives you excuse after excuse
or the friends who don’t
ask you to hangout anymore
and give you excuse after excuse.

Remember all the times
they did you right
and choose to let it go
because a relationship
is not based on
the one thing they chose to do wrong.

Is it selfish to say I want you the whole fucking time? I want you in my head. I want you in my bed. I want your hands all over my thighs. Give me your tightest grip. I want to exhale all of my loneliness and sadness to you. I want to breathe you in. I want you. I want you and I want you to want me too.

how do i say this without sounding desperate? (via dahlia—noir)

You don’t need anyone’s affection or approval in order to be good enough. When someone rejects or abandons or judges you, it isn’t actually about you. It’s about them and their own insecurities, limitations, and needs, and you don’t have to internalize that. Your worth isn’t contingent upon other people’s acceptance of you — it’s something inherent. You exist, and therefore, you matter. You’re allowed to voice your thoughts and feelings. You’re allowed to assert your needs and take up space. You’re allowed to hold onto the truth that who you are is exactly enough. And you’re allowed to remove anyone from your life who makes you feel otherwise.
